Expert Fence Replacement in New Braunfels, TX
When a fence leans, splits, or simply wears out, fence replacement is the right call for New Braunfels homeowners. At Schmidt Improvement and Repair, we remove your old fence, assess the posts and footings, and install a new fence built for this area's conditions. New Braunfels sits on Hill Country terrain where soil shifts between rocky ground and softer patches. That variation affects how posts are set and how long a fence holds its line. We account for that before the first post goes in. Central Texas heat, humidity, and seasonal storms also wear on wood and metal faster than many homeowners expect. We choose materials and installation methods that hold up to those conditions. Whether your yard is flat, sloped, or bordered by mature trees, we work with what your property gives us. If you have HOA guidelines or city setback rules to follow, we can work within those, too. Call us to talk through your replacement project in New Braunfels.

Fence Replacement FAQ
Common questions about fence replacement in New Braunfels, TX.
Replacement is the right move when posts are rotted at the base, panels are warping in multiple sections, or the structure leans and cannot be re-plumbed. Schmidt Improvement and Repair can walk your property in New Braunfels and give you a straight answer on which option makes sense.
Yes, we replace fences on sloped and rocky lots throughout New Braunfels. Hill Country terrain requires adjusted post depths and stepped or racked panel layouts, and we plan for that before work starts.
Yes, many New Braunfels neighborhoods have HOA rules covering fence height, material, and color. Check your HOA guidelines before scheduling replacement so the new fence meets those specs from the start.
Yes, old fence removal is part of the replacement work we do for New Braunfels homeowners. You will not be left with a pile of old panels or posts to deal with on your own.
The combination of intense summer heat, humidity, and soil movement from wet and dry cycles puts real stress on fence posts and panels in New Braunfels. Wood that is not properly treated or posts that are not set deep enough for local soil conditions tend to fail first.
We work with individual homeowners across New Braunfels, including single-property replacement jobs. As a sole proprietorship, we give your project direct attention from start to finish.
